Important Notice!

Due to developing Government policy the You're Welcome policy events have been postponed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

  • Are you a voluntary or community organisation working with children, young people and health?
  • Are you aware of the You’re Welcome quality criteria?

You’re Welcome is a Department of Health initiative to ensure that health services in the community and in hospitals are young people friendly.

NCB and the Government Office for The East Midlands is running free events for voluntary and community organisations to explore the policy background to You’re Welcome, the implications of the initiative to the sector (for example how attaining the standard could strengthen funding applications) and how your organisation can get involved.

It is a chance to meet the You’re Welcome regional leads, hear first hand accounts of organisations who have already taken part in the initiative and to take a guided tour through the self-assessment materials.
